  Staff was very nice when we arrived, especially given that they had technically closed already. They made a sketch of our project and got back to us with a quote.

  My wife and I went into Dexter Cabinet & Countertop on a Saturday afternoon to get an estimate for cabinets and counters for our new kitchen. It seemed like a nice place with some good options for cabinets and counters. Del was the only one there and helped answer a few questions for us, informing us that he was the "counter guy" and that Tim was not in that day to do our cabinet estimate. That was fine, Del took our information and kitchen details to leave for Tim to contact us with a cabinet estimate. Del seemed knowledgeable about counters and that he'd do a good job with our counter estimate once Tim could get our cabinets done. 5 days later after calling once and emailing Tim, we hadn't heard anything back. We just bought the house and the 3-4 week lead time for ordering cabinets is part of the critical path of our remodel. It has been over 2 weeks now and we haven't been contacted once. We clearly were either not a priority for them or they lost/ignored our request for an estimate. They get two stars because they seem like their product is good and other reviewers have claimed that they do good work. We wouldn't know since they wouldn't even get to the point of giving us an estimate for our business. Make sure to call ahead to ensure that Tim or Del is in before driving over there, don't rely on them to contact you.
